1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the ChanneLS website, application, browser extension, and related services. By using ChanneLS, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, country code, phone number, workspace information, and authentication records.
- Content you provide: writing samples, tone profiles, services, impact points, drafts, lead lists, campaign configurations, and other material submitted to ChanneLS.
- Connected-channel information: identifiers, profile details, authorization tokens, granted permissions, publishing results, and connection status for services you choose to connect.
- Subscription information: plan, subscription status, and customer and transaction references. Full payment-card details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by ChanneLS.
- Technical information: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and security events necessary to operate and protect the service.
- Extension information: a random browser-installation identifier, extension version, pairing and connection status, last-seen time, and available details from your own LinkedIn profile, such as profile URL, name, image, headline, location, current company, About text, and visible connection or follower counts.
3. LinkedIn browser-session handling
The ChanneLS LinkedIn Connector checks locally whether LinkedIn’s authenticated-session cookie exists so it can show whether the user is signed in. The extension does not transmit the raw cookie value or your LinkedIn password to ChanneLS. When you pair it, the extension sends the one-time pairing code, random browser-installation identifier, extension version, and available details displayed on your own LinkedIn profile over HTTPS. ChanneLS saves this profile snapshot for the connected-account interface instead of repeatedly collecting it. You can request an updated snapshot through the extension’s refresh control.
When you deliberately run a controlled action test, the extension opens the LinkedIn URL you provide, reads the visible connection or reaction state, and performs a like or unlike only after explicit confirmation. When you start a controlled campaign, the extension may claim its queued profile views, connection checks, connection requests, and messages while the paired Chrome browser is available. ChanneLS records the action result, visible relationship state, errors, and safety checkpoints in the campaign workspace. Campaign actions are rate-limited and duplicate-protected; existing conversations, replies, checkpoints, unavailable controls, and uncertain states pause the lead instead of causing an automatic retry.
If future extension functionality changes the information accessed or transmitted, we will update this policy, the Chrome Web Store disclosures, and any consent flow required before that functionality is used.
4. How we use information
- Provide authentication, workspaces, content generation, publishing, outreach configuration, and connected-channel features.
- Process subscriptions and maintain account entitlements.
- Pair and manage authorized browser installations.
- Prevent abuse, investigate errors, protect accounts, and maintain service reliability.
- Respond to support requests and communicate material service or policy changes.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.
5. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
ChanneLS uses data obtained through its Chrome extension only to provide or improve the extension’s disclosed, user-facing purpose; to maintain security and reliability; or as otherwise permitted by the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy. We do not sell extension user data, use it for personalized advertising, or allow humans to read it except with the user’s specific consent for support, for security or abuse investigation, when required by law, or when data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
6. Sharing
We may share only the information necessary with infrastructure, analytics, authentication, AI, communications, and payment providers that help deliver ChanneLS; with connected platforms when you direct an action; with professional advisers under confidentiality; or when required for law, security, corporate restructuring, or protection of rights. We do not sell personal information.
7. Security and retention
We use access controls, HTTPS encryption in transit, and other reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No system is completely secure. We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Pairing codes expire after ten minutes and are single-use.
8. Your choices
You may disconnect integrations, revoke browser installations, update certain profile information, or request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us. Some records may be retained where legally required or necessary for security and legitimate business records.
9. International processing and children
Information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to appropriate safeguards where required. ChanneLS is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18.
